Online Sources
Industrialist
Friedrich Krebs patented 'Lithofracteur', a dynamite variant, and began importing it into Australia around 1873/74. Although he was successfully sued for infringement by the British Dynamite Company, he took advantage of Australia's distance from Europe and began manufacture in Australia in 1874.
