Born: 11 June 1946  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Roger Everett Summons has been with the Australian Geological Survey Organisation (formerly Bureau of Mineral Resources, Geology and Geophysics) since 1983 and is currently a Chief Research Scientist. He is interested in biogeochemistry and organic geochemistry.
