Rodney Stuart Tucker has been Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Melbourne since 1990 and Director of the Photonics Research Laboratory there and Director, Melbourne, Australian Photonics Cooperative Research Centre. His research interests include photonics, optoelectronics, and telecommunications.
