Born: 27 August 1897  South Yarra, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 13 September 1977  Mount Macedon, Victoria, Australia.
Dermot Armstrong Casey was a founder of the Anthropological Society of Victoria, president (1947) of the Royal Society of Victoria and honorary ethnologist to the National Museum of Victoria for forty years.
