Mossop, John Garland (c. 1879 - 1957)

 
Industrial chemist
Born: c. 1879  Gawler, South Australia, Australia.  Died: 12 May 1957.
John Garland Mossop worked for Cresco Fertilizers Limited 1919-39, where he was General Manager from 1929. He played a major part in the technical development of the Company and his achievements included the building of superphosphate factories at Geelong, Victoria, Wallaroo and Port Lincoln, South Australia and Bayswater, Western Australia within a period of eight years.

Born Gawler, South Australia, ca 1879. Died 12 May 1957. Educated South Australian School of Mines. Adelaide Chemical and Fertilizer Co. Limited (rising to Chief Chemist), Works Manager, Cresco Fertilizers Limited, Birkenhead 1919-21, Works Superintendent 1921-29, General Manager 1929-39.
