Moore, Humphrey Owen (1908 - 1963)

Born: 23 July 1908  Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.  Died: 2 July 1963.
Humphrey Owen Moore worked for ICI in various capacities 1937-63. In th early years he was concerned with the starting up and operation of a number of the company's new chemical projects in Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle.

Demonstrator, South Australian School of Mines, research assistant, Biochemistry Department, University of Adelaide, demonstrator and research student in biochemistry, University of Adealide 1933-35, Research Officer, CSIR Animal Nutrition Laboratory, Adelaide 1936, ICIANZ Limited 1937-45, Process Manager, then Production Manager, ICI Alkali (Aust.) Pty Ltd 1946-53, Operations Manager 1953-63.
