| Born: 10 February 1907 Wilna, Lithuania. Died: 23 September 1964. |
| Joshua Marshall came to Australia in 1936 and operated his own business, mnaufacturing aromatic chemicals and perfumery products until 1953. In 1954 he was appointed patent examiner at the Patent Office, Canberra, and held this position at the time of his death. |
