Malloch, Francis John (1883 - 1941)

Born: 1883.  Died: 8 October 1941.
Francis John Malloch was a senior chemist in the Foods, Drugs and Toxicology Section of the Western Australian Government Chemical Laboratory 1911-41. He played a considerable part in the chemical work in connection with the early establishment of standards for pure food supplies, especially in an extensive milk survey of the State. Before moving to Western Australia Malloch worked as a chemist with the British Ministry of Munitions (1916-1919) and in the Victorian Department of Health Laboratory. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
