Cadet, Government Chemical Laboratory, ca 1904-07, Mines and Smelters, Hampden near Cloncurry for 3 years ca 1910-13, Chief Chemist, Proserpine Mill 1913-21, chemist member, Central Cane Prices Board 1921-51, technical adviser, Proprietary Millers Association 1951-57. Munitions factory work, UK during World War II, including a term as Chief Chemist at Queensferry, the longest munitions factory in the country. President, Queensland Society of Sugar Cane Technologists. |
