Born: 1899 New Zealand. Died: 27 November 1980. |
Norman McClelland spent most of his working life at the Electrolytic Zinc Company, Risdon Works, Hobart. He developed a process using nitroso-naphthol to control cobalt in the Zinc Plant circuit. He also built up the Instrument Section from a staff of 2 to 16 and pioneered the use of process control instruments. |
