Kolosi, Jozsef (1955 - 1997)

 
Zoologist and Animal breeder
Born: 9 June 1955  Budapest, Hungary.  Died: 19 July 1997.
Jozsef Kolosi was manager of the Royal Guide Dogs Association of Australia's breeding services for several years before his death. He implemented a breeding program for potential guide dogs using fozen semen, which had a success rate of 100% compared to the international average of 50-70%.

Career Highlights
Born Budapest, 9 June 1955. Died Melbourne 19 July 1997. Zoo director and research scientist, Tanzania 1979-80, research assistant, Hungarian Academy of Science 1980-85, migrated to Australia 1985, kennels supervisor, then kennels manager and then manager of breeding and kennels, Royal Guide Dogs Association of Australia.
