Thomas Ronald Lowth worked for the Queensland Government Analyst 1939-55, starting as a cadet in the ores section of the laboratory and rising to Division I chemist. He resigned to establish his own business as public analyst and geological consultant. |

Evening lectures in geology and mineralogy, Ipswich and Central Technical Colleges for a number of years. |
