Leach, Stephen Laurence (1906 - 1967)

 
Industrial chemist
Born: 6 March 1906.  Died: 24 March 1967.
Stephen Laurence Leach worked for BALM Paints for 27 years before moving to Taubmans Industries Ltd in 1956 as Group Personnel Controller, a position which he held at the time of his death.

Born 6 March 1906. Died Sydney, 24 March 1967. Educated University of Sydney (BA, BSc, BEc, BEd). Chief Chemist, later Director of Research and Development, BALM Paints for 27 years, Major, Scientific Liaison Bureau during World War II, Group Personnel Controller, Taubmans Industries Ltd 1956-67. Chairman, Australian Section, Oil and Colour Chemists' Association in Australia, New South Branch President, Royal Australian Chemical Institute 1956-57, Chairman of the Institute's Status Committee 1959-60.
