Jupp, Howard R. (1884 - 1962)

 
Analytical chemist
Born: 11 September 1884  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 8 January 1962  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Howard R. Jupp was educated at Melbourne Technical College (Associate Diploma) and went on to work in the Tasmanian mining industry. He was later employed by the Government Analyst Department, Victoria, then moved to the Commonwealth Laboratory, Melbourne when it first opened (ca 1907-48). He was eventually promoted to Commonwealth Analyst (1948-49). Jupp specialised in custom tariff analyses.
