Hawkins, Jack (c. 1910 - 1991)

 
Metallurgist and Industrial chemist
Born: c. 1910  Hillgrove, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 1991.
Jack Hawkins joined John Lysaght Newcastle Works in 1928 in the Technical Department and retired in 1973 as Director of Technology. Among other things he was involved in the development of Marviplate and Colorbond.

Career Highlights
Born ca 1910. Died June 1991. Educated Newcastle Technical College (Diploma in Industrial Chemistry and Metallurgy). John Lysaght Newcastle Works 1928-73, starting in the Technical Department and ending as Director of Technology.
