Asotoff, Vlad P. (1914 - 1979)

 
Mineral chemist
Born: 1914  Russia.  Died: 12 July 1979.
Vlad P. Asotoff and his wife established Mining & Agricultural Laboratories, a consulting and analytical business in 1956. He was later a technical director of various companies including Cable Ltd and The Griffin Coal Mining Co and was involved with beach sand and coal mining. Before arriving in Australia in 1940 Astoff was educated at Belgrade University and worked with Treibacher Chemische Werke A.G. in Austria.
