Donald Walker was Professor of Biogeography at the Research School of Pacific Studies, Institute of Advanced Studies, Australian National University from 1969-89 and Head of the Department of Biogeography & Geomorphology for most of that period. His work is in the area of courses and rates of vegetation change and its environmental correlates.
