Bellamy, Clifford John (1936 - 1997)

 
Computer scientist
Born: 13 January 1936  New Zealand?.  Died: 14 January 1997  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Clifford John Bellamy was Director of the Monash Computer Centre from 1964-90 and then became Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Australia's first such faculty. He was also a consultant for numerous Australian and international projects, including advising the Victorian government on its future computer needs during the 1970s and helping the New Zealand Vice-Chancellor's Committee evaluate proposals to install computer systems in their universities. He was educated at Auckland University (BE) and University of Sydney (PhD).
