Swain, Herbert John (1882 - 1959)

Born: 28 April 1882  Lamberth, England.  Died: 8 August 1959  Gordon, New South Wales, Australia.
Herbert John Swain was principal of Sydney Technical College from 1936-47. Prior to that he was lecturer-in-charge of mechanical engineering form 1913-36. Swain also lectured on combustion engines at the University of Sydney until the late 1940s.
