Born: 24 July 1942.  Died: 13 January 1998.
John Robert Booker worked in the School of Civil and Mining Engineering at the University of Sydney 1970-98. His research was in the area of analytical geomechanics and was primarily concerned with the time-dependent and inelastic behaviour of soil and rocks.
