Hammond, Keith (1942 - )

 
Zoologist and Geneticist
Born: 3 August 1942
Keith Hammond has been a Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences at the University of New England since 1993. He is known for his work in genetics and applied research for the animal industries. His previous appointments included Livestock Officer with the New South Wales Department of Agriculture 1964, Visiting Lecturer at the University of New England 1975, and Senior Research Scientist 1981. Hammond was educated at Hawkesbury Agricultural College (HDA) and the University of Sydney (BAgrSc, PhD).
