Murrell, Burton (1936 - 1995)

 
Born: 1936  New Zealand.  Died: 29 September 1995.
Burton Murrell was an exploration geologist who worked for CRAE from 1978 to 1986. After leaving CRAE he undertook consultancy work in Alice Springs and later in the USA and Mexico.

c. 1960 - c. 1962Worked at a freezing works, as a laboratory assistant, at logging, on rabbit destruction, and built and operated the Manapouri community store
