| Kenneth R. Glasson was lecturer in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Sydney 1956-67. From the 1970s until his death he worked as a consultant and negotiator for mining companies in Australia and overseas. |

Instrumental in the formation of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists 1981. Co-founder, Australian Institute of Geoscientists (President 1983-87), President, Edgeworth David Society 1994. |
