Born: 7 October 1921  Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 27 November 1994.
Kenneth R. Glasson was lecturer in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Sydney 1956-67. From the 1970s until his death he worked as a consultant and negotiator for mining companies in Australia and overseas.

Pupil surveyor, Bathurst 1939-40, war service 1940-45, Geologist, Senior Geologist and Chief Geologist, Captains Flat 1948-52, CSR 1952, Project Geologist, Radium Hill 1952-54, Senior Consulting Geologist, Mining and Prospecting Services 1954-56, Teaching Fellow, Department of Geology and Geophysics, University of Sydney 1956, Senior Lecturer 1957-69, Union Miniere 1969-75, Aquitaine Australia Minerals 1976-83, consultancy work 1984-94. Instrumental in the formation of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists 1981. Co-founder, Australian Institute of Geoscientists (President 1983-87), President, Edgeworth David Society 1994.
