Fraser, Alex Stewart (1923 - )

 
Geneticist
Born: 24 December 1923
Alex Stewart Fraser worked at the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) Animal Genetics Laboratory at the University of Sydney from around 1949. He began there as a Research Officer and rose to Senior Principal Officer. Fraser later moved to the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Cincinatti, USA and was once a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA).
