Farrands, John Laws (1921 - 1996)

Born: 11 March 1921  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 14 July 1996.
John Laws Farrands worked mainly as a defence scientist, including Chief Defence Scientist 1971-77. He completed his career as Head of the Department of Science and its successors, Department of Science and Environment and Department of Science and Technology 1977-82.
