Kenric Harold Bennett collected indigenous fodder grasses, plants, etc from the Lachlan River, New South Wales during the second half of the nineteenth century. |

Born ca 1840. Died Ivanhoe, near Hay, New South Wales, 30 June 1891. Bush naturalist, with three major interests - birds, on whose habits he wrote a number of articles; native plants, which he collected both for himself and J.H. Maiden (q.v.) and published a number of papers on; and the native weapons, implements and utensils of aborigines. |
