Bennett, Kenric Harold (1835 - 1891)

 
Natural history collector
Born: 1835  Hobart Town, Tasmania, Australia.  Died: 30 June 1891  Ivanhoe, New South Wales, Australia.
Kenric Harold Bennett collected indigenous fodder grasses, plants, etc from the Lachlan River, New South Wales during the second half of the nineteenth century.

Career Highlights
Born ca 1840. Died Ivanhoe, near Hay, New South Wales, 30 June 1891. Bush naturalist, with three major interests - birds, on whose habits he wrote a number of articles; native plants, which he collected both for himself and J.H. Maiden (q.v.) and published a number of papers on; and the native weapons, implements and utensils of aborigines.
