| Kenneth Baillieu Myer was instrumental in the establishment of the Howard Florey Institute of Experimental Physiology and Medicine and remained as President for many years. His wide philanthropy of science was acknowledged by his election as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science in 1992. |
