Born: 10 December 1835 Kilconquhar, Fife, Scotland. Died: 24 August 1914 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

(Sir) Henry Normand MacLauren was at various times Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sydney.
