Kurth, Ernest Carl Edgar (1895 - 1966)

Born: 1 November 1895  Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 4 January 1966.
Ernest Carl E. Kurth was Professor of Chemistry, University of Tasmania from 1941. Earlier he had been Lecturer in Applied Chemistry 1923-37 and Head of the Chemistry Department 1937-41. While working at the University of Tasmania he was also head of the Department of Chemistry at the Hobart Technical College.
