McBride, William Griffith (1927 - )

Born: 25 May 1927  Sydney?, New South Wales, Australia
William Griffith McBride was the founder of Foundation 41, a research organisation investigating the causes of mental and physical handicap and based at the Women's Hospital, Sydney from 1971. He was the discoverer of the effects of thalidomide on unborn children.
