Sloane, Thomas Gibson (1858 - 1932)

Born: 20 April 1858  St Kilda, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 20 October 1932  Young, New South Wales, Australia.
Thomas Gibson Sloane, the owner-manager of a stud merino flock at Moorilla, was influenced by W. Macleay and became seriously interested in natural history. He published widely and described about 600 new species of insect, mostly Carabidae.
