Gibbons, Charles (1841 - 1927)

Entomologist
Born: 20 March 1841  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 13 October 1927.
Charles Gibbons became interested in entomology at age 65 after watching a fruit-fly-infested peach tree. He subsequently did much collecting of bees and wasps in the Roseville and Hornsby areas, New South Wales, particularly the "Asilidae".
