Townsend, Albert Alan (1917 - )

Born: 22 January 1917
Albert Alan Townsend was educated at the University of Melbourne and spent most of his working life at the University of Cambridge in England. There he was Assistant Director of the Cavendish Laboratory (1950-1961) and Reader in experimental fluid mechanics.
