Mills, James Edward (1905 - 1943)

Born: 31 May 1905  Roma, Queensland, Australia.  Died: 11 May 1943  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
James Edward Mills joined the chemistry staff at the University of Sydney in 1933 and served there until his unexpected death in 1943. His main interests were in gas analysis and spectroscopy. Mills was Honorary Treasurer of the New South Wales Branch of the Australian Chemical Institute, a President of the Sydney University Chemical Society and of the Sydney University Science Association.
