Born: 28 September 1903  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 29 November 1982  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Stanley Leonard Martin was Head of the Department of Applied Physics at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology from 1928 to 1968. Prior to this he was a teacher with the New South Wales Department of education.
