Born: 8 January 1918  St Albans, England.  Died: 15 September 2000  Silver Spring, Maryland, United States of America.
Frank John Kerr started his career in the CSIR Radiophysics Laboratory. He later moved to the University of Maryland, USA. He still maintained his interest in southern hemisphere astronomy.
