Edward Byam Brown was associate professor in electrical engineering, University of Melbourne 1930-46. He was the husband of Vera Scantlebury Brown.

General Electric Company, Schenectady, New York 1905-07; lecturer in mathematics and physics, University of Melbourne 1908-11; lecturer in electrical engineering 1911-29; associate professor 1930-46.
