Gunn, John Alexander (1860 - 1910)

Born: 11 February 1860  Buninyong, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 21 September 1910.
John Alexander Gunn, working from the basis set by L. Pasteur, developed a single -dose anthrax vaccine suitable for Australian conditions. He built his own laboratory at "Borambola", the property he managed in New South Wales and was Chairman of the Council of Advice on Rabbit Extermination.
