Beavis, Francis Clifford (1924 - )

Born: 1 August 1924  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Francis Clifford Beavis was Professor of Engineering Geology at the University of New South Wales 1973-86. Earlier he was a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne 1956-73 and had worked as an engineering geologist for the S.E.C. Victoria 1948-56. Beavis was educated at the Universities of Melbourne (BSc, PhD), Cambridge (MA), and New South Wales (LLB).
