Mackie, Frederick (1812 - 1893)

Naturalist, School teacher and Nurseryman
Born: 1812.  Died: 1893  South Australia, Australia.
Frederick Mackie toured the Australian colonies in 1852-55, keeping detailed diaries. He returned to South Australia in November 1855 and after marrying, moved to Tasmania in 1856. He again returned to South Australia and remained there until his death.
