Story, George Fordyce (1800 - 1885)

Born: 4 June 1800  England.  Died: 7 June 1885.
George Fordyce Story, who was born in London, studied medicine at Aberdeen University and settled in Swansea, Tasmania in 1828. He was district surgeon, a quaker, a keen botanist and was Secretary of the Royal Society of Tasmania 1844-46.
