Moyer, Andrew J. (1899 - 1959)

Born: 30 November 1899  United States of America.  Died: 17 February 1959.
Andrew J. Moyer gained his doctoral thesis in 1929 for his work on the growth of fungi. From 1929 he worked with the US Department of Agriculture on methods of fermentation, especially penicillin. His methods made large scale penicillin production possible.
