Born: 23 December 1858  Geelong, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 21 December 1915  Camberwell, Victoria.
Thomas Sergeant Hall became a Lecturer and Demonstrator in Biology at the University of Melbourne in 1893 and continued his work on a range of geological and palaeontological subjects. He wrote widely for journals and newspapers. President of the Royal Society of Victoria 1914-15.
