Born: 19 November 1846  Coventry, Warwickshire, England.  Died: 2 August 1914  Prahran, Victoria, Australia.
John Iliffe began practicing in Melbourne during the 1870s and was active in establishing organisational and educational reforms in the dental profession at the Victorian and national level. From 1897 he lectured at the Australian College of Dentistry.
