Fletcher, Joseph James (1850 - 1926)

Zoologist and Botanist
Born: 1850  Auckland, New Zealand.  Died: 15 May 1926  Hunter's Hill, New South Wales, Australia.
Joseph James Fletcher was the director of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 1893-1919. He had joined the Society in 1881, its council in 1883, became librarian in 1886 and was president 1919-21. Earlier he had taught science at Newington College, Sydney.
