Born: 11 June 1885  Hotham, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 22 August 1969  Canterbury, Victoria, Australia.
Valentine George Anderson practised as a chemical analyst in Melbourne from 1910 and lectured in applied chemistry at the University of Melbourne 1925-46. He was an adviser to many Australian government departments and committees and published a number of research papers.
