Born: 5 February 1903  Melbourne?, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 1 September 1986.
Ian Jeffreys Wood was Assistant Director of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and Head of the Clinical Research Unit in association with the Royal Melbourne Hospital 1945-63. He was a consulting physician to the Hospital 1963-78.
