Born: 19 November 1865  Montrose, Forfarshire, Scotland.  Died: 13 May 1948  Wahroonga, New South Wales, Australia.
David Arthur Welsh was Professor of Pathology, University of Sydney 1902-35, and his most important scientific work concerned immunological reactions.
