Francis John (Frank) Watson was Head of Chemistry School, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology 1937-45.

Head, Chemical Laboratory, Commonwealth Cordite Factory, Maribyrnong 1918-19, assistant head, Chemistry Department, Melbourne Technical College 1917-37, Head 1937-45. President, Society of Chemical Industry of Victoria 1939-40.
