Rupp, Harman Montague Rucker (1872 - 1956)

Botanist and Clergyman
Born: 27 December 1872  Port Fairy, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 2 September 1956  Mosman, New South Wales, Australia.
Harman Montague R. Rupp studied botany at the University of Melbourne (BA 1897). He had many posts as priest and from 1899 made a census of the native plants of his parishes. From 1924 he concentrated on orchids and wrote many books and papers on the subject.
